Awakening To Your Spiritual Path

All learning begins from deep within. This includes listening and respecting oneself. Many of us have forgotten how to learn from within and how to communicate with our soul (soul essence). With a little practice, we can quickly reawaken ourselves and start communicating with our soul essence and our Spirit Guides. It is through your soul essence that you communicate with your Spirit Guides and it is through your soul essence that you channel energy to heal others and yourself.

At first, you may not believe that you have Spirit Guides, Angels or Power Animals, or even a soul essence to communicate with inwardly through meditation and shamanic journeys. But if you search deep within your heart and when you see miracles happen every day, like the birth of a new baby, a beautiful sunset, and prayers answered, then you know that there is much, much more than just your every day life and routines. I challenge you to believe and keep an open mind as you reconnect to your soul essence, your Spirit Guides, and Mother/Father Creator.

Becoming your Own Shaman: The earth and all of creation on the earth need you to become their healer and their guardian. Your teachers in this endeavor are the animals, the trees, the rocks, the earth, the four elements, the four directions and so forth. Go out in to nature and spend time observing and meditating. Honor all of creation and be passionate. Realize that everything and everyone is connected and ONE with the Mother/Father Creator.

Power Animal Spirit Guides: The Power Animals (which represent both wild and domesticated animals) wish to become our partners to assist in healing Mother Earth. They are a major source of a shaman’s wisdom. They wish to connect and communicate with us out in nature when we are outdoors hiking and enjoying nature. They wish to connect and communicate with us telepathically. The Power Animals represent all of nature and the environment on earth. Once we communicate with the animals and respect and understand their messages, all of earth and humanity will be healed. The Power Animals ask that you first connect with your inner-self, your soul. Once you do this, you will be able to communicate with the Power Animals and find your individual Power Animal(s). They will become your partner in your endeavor to discover and unfold your unique spiritual pathway.
 

The Standing People: The Standing People are the trees. Every tree, and for that matter every plant and bush, has a spiritual essence and we can communicate, through our soul essence, with them. The trees can assist us to connect to both the lower and upper worlds. Their roots go deep into Mother Earth and connect us to the inter-dimensional lower world, the terrestrial world. The branches reach upwards and connect us to the upper world, the celestial world. The Standing People silently hold the knowledge of all the civilizations that have inhabited earth. They have many sacred gifts and knowledge to offer us. They not only provide resources to us, but they offer us strength and wisdom. The Standing People are our spiritual partners and are ready to assist us on our spiritual journeys.

If you sit against or by a tree, you may journey to the tree and have questions answered. You can feel the energy from the tree and if you are patient you will receive information. If you touch the tree and send loving energy back to the tree, positive and loving energy will be returned to you and you will feel the positive energy throughout your body.

Medicine Wheel Power Prayer: To create a simple medicine wheel out in nature, spread tobacco, cornmeal or rocks in a circle on the ground in a clockwise direction. Enter the circle from the east with a feeling of love and appreciation in your heart. Bow to each direction (east, south, west and north). Kneel in the center of the wheel and ask your power animals and spirit guides to assist you. Place your hands in prayer and call out to The Creator thanking the Creator for all that you have and for prayers that will be answered. State your prayers and affirmations. You may also ask questions and wait in silence for the answer from The Creator. If you do not receive one, you will receive an answer at a later time. The medicine wheel amplifies everything we do and say inside of it. When you pray inside this sacred wheel, you will be heard.
